Even the snow seems to shiver from the great cold and falls in minute flakes, thickly packed. Noises come muffled and are lost in the distance in the boreal forest caught in the grip of frost.
Suddenly, a series of repeated calls cleave the air and break through, shaking the calm of the scene: it is a white-tailed sea eagle chasing, wings outstretched, the dark silhouette of a raven to steal its prey.
